Work together
These are possible forms of work. We agree the question, scope, outputs, and responsibilities together before an engagement begins.
Understand
Examine evidence, categories, and assumptions with researchers, archives, cultural organizations, and communities. The work spans art and philosophy, Indigenous futurism, provenance, and the ways institutions make meaning.
Design
Work through who can decide, what context must remain attached, and how an interface or workflow should express those responsibilities. Indigenous data and community-controlled infrastructure begin from the authority of the Nations and communities concerned.
Build & carry forward
Turn a defined need into software and a workable local process. Support setup, integration, documentation, and training so the people carrying the work can maintain it after a handoff.
Grant development
Research opportunities and develop draft material around the applicant’s own project. The applicant controls every fact, representation, approval, signature, and submission. Scope and availability are discussed directly.
